About Beihang

Founded in 1952, Beihang University is China’s first institution dedicated to aeronautics and astronautics. As a key national university supported by major initiatives such as “Project 211,” “Project 985,” and the “Double First-Class Initiative,” Beihang is developing into a world-class university rooted in China.

Beihang offers programs across 10 discipline categories, with particular strengths in aerospace science and technology, computer science, software engineering, materials science, control science, management science, and biomedical engineering. Eight disciplines have been selected into the national “Double First-Class” list.

The Hangzhou International Campus, launched in 2023, is located in the Hangzhou Chengxi Sci-Tech Innovation Corridor. With modern facilities and advanced digital infrastructure, the campus is designed to foster innovation, global collaboration, and high-quality education.
