I. About Jinhua University of Vocational Technology

Jinhua University of Vocational Technology (JUVT) is a state-funded undergraduate vocational institution that evolved through integrating the resources of Jinhua Polytechnic, which was founded in 1994. JUVT placed high priority on global educational engagement, partnering with universities and institutions in over 50 countries for faculty training, student exchanges, joint research, and Sino-foreign cooperative educational programs. In partnership with the Waikato Institute of Technology (Wintec) in New Zealand, JUVT has established the Waikato International College. Notably, JUVT has also established the Musanze International College in Rwanda, Africa; and, in Central and West Asia, it has set up the “Silk Road Jinhua College” and the “Huata Workshop” in Uzbekistan, as well as the “Culture and Tourism Silk Road College” in Türkiye. Currently, the university operates 8 international joint programs, and hosts a provincial-ministerial co-construction pilot project—the Sino-German dual-system education program in mechatronics technology. It has also launched international academic platforms such as the “China-New Zealand Vocational Education Forum” and the “China—Africa Vocational Education Cooperation Dialogue”, and has educated over 1,200 international diploma students from over 80 countries and regions.

JUVT announces four specialized summer camp programs for international students in 2026, each featuring unique cultural immersion combined with academic excellence.

This program offers participants an immersive experience in Chinese architecture through language courses, cultural lectures, and hands-on projects including architectural modeling, intangible cultural heritage crafts, and traditional joinery techniques (Luban locks). Participants will cultivate innovative thinking through visits to e-commerce bases and maker spaces.

Program 2: “Zhejiang New Business · Youth Together Summer Camp”

Centered on Zhejiang's digital economy and e-commerce industrial belts, this program reveals authentic business logic of SMEs. It provides participants multi-dimensional understanding of contemporary China's society, economy, and culture while enhancing cross-cultural communication skills.

Program 3: “Summer Rhythm of TCM: Eco-Cultural Symbiosis”

This program stimulates participants interest in Traditional Chinese Medicine through studying TCM and language, visiting medicine bases and simulated hospitals. It helps participants to learn about Jinhua and appreciate the charm of traditional Chinese culture through activities such as visiting Tea Museum, Shouxian TCM Valley, experiencing Acupuncture and preparing seasonal medicinal diets.
